This is Raglan Burn
"Raglan Burn" is a Burn-inspired event, which is a little different to your average commerce based festival/party/bush doof. Raglan Burn is a mini participatory, not-for-profit festival, 100% volunteer run, and a collective experience.

Everybody contributes, everybody buys a ticket.

Each performance, art piece, workshop, cocktail, all the behind the scenes organising and administration is there because somebody has gifted their time to make it happen!
As there are no paid performers, there are no spectators. What is shared are the passions and dreams of those who gift them.

We are co-creating a gift economy and a different kind of social reality to go along with it.​​​​

How to join in on the fun
If your heart starts to beat a little faster after learning what Raglan Burn is all about and you'd like to join us for a weekend full of creative, adventurous festivities, then wait no longer and register your interest to obtain a ticket.

Please sign up for one or more of the roles available and we will get in touch with you.
When your role is confirmed you can expect to receive a link to purchase a ticket early March. The price of the ticket will be $150.

Other ways to join and contribute
​
Besides being part of the organisation crew, you can also contribute by creating art. We have some small art grants available for your projects. Another way to join is through a theme camp, although this generally works by way of word of mouth. Theme camps are a big part of what makes a Burn a Burn, generally offering something amazing in a -you guessed it- specific theme.
Raglan Burn is a private event held on private property with contracted security in place.
Anyone not authorised to be there will immediately be evicted.

A: The event location will be announced a week prior to the event. It will be in/around Raglan.

Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Yes, this is a kid-friendly event. However, no kids are allowed on the main event field after 8pm.

At Raglan Burn we want to enable participation without fear of prejudice. We actively respect cultural and individual diversity and celebrate difference.
Raglan Burn is a great place to let loose and radically express yourself, however we also want to create a culture where we all feel safe and respected. Let’s make sure everyone is having a good time… not just you.

Consent is sexy! But it's also not just about sex. Please ask before any hugging/touching/touching people's stuff/taking photos etc.
